TGMD = The Great Mouse Detective

I really need to draw Birdie more often. I've been neglecting her, it's ridiculous.
But I kinda neglect all of my OCs lately x'D

So I badly wanted to draw a steampunk inspired dress, and Birdie seemed the most fitting one to give her one <3

Yay, finally got to get around and comment on this (possibly with tons of mistakes, as I'm currently sitting at an unfamiliar keyboard - feels so weird.) EITHER WAY.
I of course love this - not just because of the obvious work you've put into this, what with all the details, the method of colouring and just all the small subtle elements. But man, do I love the colours you've chosen; It's no secret that I love brown and earthy colours; it gives it such a vintage look which of course only falls natural with the Steampunk-look, but it also speaks to me personally! I love the green elements (another favourite of mine) such as her ear-rings and the pendant - because of the brown colours, they stand out so much more, and it all balances well out, especially because you've made them uneven in size and 'weight' so it doesn't come out all balanced but... much more interesting.
birdie? Do I even need to say more about her - I love her; I adore her design, her colours, her personality. And I adore how mature she looks here. Honestly, I have a hard time making Birdie fit into big fancy dresses such as this one, as she IMO is much more subtle and less drama, but it is still very very beautiful nonetheless. And I CAN see little out-of-town-Birdie get all excited by the prospect of trying some of that fancy-big-city-stuff.

So yeah; Tl;dr... Effing sunning this piece!

Thankyou dearie! :heart:

Your comments are always so big, I love how much effort you always put in them ;__;

I often get lost in details! I hope I didn't go too far here... But I did my best ^_^
't Was fun to get Birdie into a giant dress, it feels good to give her some different attire than I'm used to give her.
Birdie is actually... just my victim if I want to draw detailed dresses >_< The poor thing!

Oh God no, you can never go over-the-top or go too detailed with Steampunk. It's supposed to be grand and huge and impressive which this piece surely is!
